Isn’t Calla adorable?! She is one happy, expressive baby! She was a joy to shoot. Her mom, Jane and I have knew each other for a few years now. We planned our weddings together! Calla has all of the right accessories. I am in love with her little sandal shoes. Perfect for those little toes and gives me spring fever! One of my favorites from the shoot has to be the vertical B&W portrait of her…I mean, look at those EYES! Can’t wait to shoot her one year session this summer.

I’ve seen the B family grow for awhile now and I love them! They are so laid back and easygoing people! Their first son Brendan is a tank! He keeps growing like crazy! He would tower over my 2 year old for sure and they are only a few months apart. Brendan’s brother, Dylan has the blondest of hair just like his big brother. I can’t wait for more fun sessions with this family this year. <3

I was very excited to see how much Eleanor had grown from her newborn session. It seems like I have  a lot of boy clients one year and then the next there is an abundance of girls. Funny hoe that works. I think I tired Eleanor right out because by the end she was sleeping like a baby. How adorable is her bracelet?! It fits her perfectly.

Ben is always such a happy go lucky baby! It is always a pleasure to see him for his sessions! See his adorable puppy sweater? His grandma made it for him?! LOVE! His next session is coming up soon! His parents are already starting to plan is 1st birthday party. Hopefully for his 1 year shoot we will be able to do photos outside!

Little Hudson was 13 days old when these photos were taken! He was sound asleep prior to my arrival but as soon as I started shooting he wanted to know what was going on – I’m sure he wanted a say in what outfits we were putting him in! Sarah and her husband, Eric were ‘Team Green’, which in the baby world meant they weren’t finding out the gender of the baby. I have this talent (I guess that’s the best word for it) that I can guess the genders of babies before they are born. I have never been wrong, no joke! At Sarah’s maternity session I told her it would be a boy and of course here is Mr. Hudson. I am looking forward to a full years worth of pictures with this little man!

I’ve been looking forward to little Ethan’s session for awhile! It’s finally here! Ethan was in such good spirits for our session. He definitely tired me out, I swear sometimes these little ones run faster than me! I loved that he matched his daddy! We had fun at Royal Park, I hope you enjoy his sneak peek.

Harrison was born to proud parents Kristen & Richard on January 22nd. He has such perfect features, don’t you think?! Harrison was a good mix of asleep and awake for his session. His owl room was so perfect for my little owl beanie – even though it was a tad big, I had to use it! I hope to see more of this family in the future, they are so welcoming!

This striking beauty is Aurelia. You may recognize her from her earlier shoots – I have been photographing her since she was 6 months old! It is such a joy to me that I get to watch these munchkins grow. I get along so well with her parents, Shannon & Mike. They constantly have me laughing at every shoot. I was sad to find out they will be moving this year. I hope they visit, because I know I will miss them so much!

This delightful little girl is Eliana! She just turned ONE! I bet her mom Amanda and dad Eric can’t believe her birthday is here already. Amanda is one of my internet friends and I have gotten the pleasure of watching her grow this past year. She is a very bright, happy girl who I can’t wait to photograph again! Happy Birthday, Eliana!

Brook and Mark were my last wedding of 2011. It sure was a celebration! Their wedding party and I had such a blast together and I felt so welcome on their special day. I can see Brook & Mark are lucky in love, but are lucky with friends and family as well. We hung out in Romeo for a bit and headed down to the Mirage in Clinton Twp. for their reception. The speeches were emotional ( I swear I always cry!) and the atmosphere was boisterous. I loved ending my 2011 wedding season with Brook & Mark and I wish them the best of everything in life!
